On January 22nd, 2024, House Bill 2565 was introduced to the Arizona state legislature.

This proposed legislation is modeled after Illinois’s SB 1782 law and would ensure compensation for children featured in family vlogging videos. Additionally, it would ensure that children featured in vlogging videos may request the permanent deletion of the content they appear in. This bill was introduced by representative Nancy Gutierrez. 

The bill has passed its first reading in its original chamber.
